Organ Donation Joint Working Group Webinar
The webinar is aimed at those involved in organ donation, including donor families and representative groups as well as those who are responsible for delivering the organ donation service and involved in promoting organ donation (e.g. Specialist Nurses and Clinical Leads for Organ Donation; Donation Committee Chairs; Intensive Care Team members; Organ Donation Charities etc)
The webinar will give you the opportunity to learn more about the report and the priorities for action to increase the number of organs available for transplant through three key areas: aligning societal action with public support for organ donation, reversing the decline in consent rates, and expanding the pool of potential donors.
You will be able to hear from members of the Organ Donation Joint Working Group about the feedback and advice they received from donor families and clinical teams about the current organ donation infrastructure and how these are reflected in the actions contained within the report.
You will also have an opportunity to ask questions and give your thoughts on the next steps for driving improvements and how we can save more lives through the gift of organ donation.
